In February 2022, the IGEOS section for nuclear energy was established as a IGEOS NUCLEAR.

This is a response to the knowledge and promotional needs of Polish companies from the energy sector interested in participation and implementation of the Polish nuclear energy program (PPEJ). In addition, it is to support ministerial activities in the field of local content stimulation in order to obtain maximum effects in the participation of domestic companies in the project.

The group of experts begins its activities as the Team for Supporting the Domestic Industry in Nuclear Power (IGEOS NUCLEAR).

The team is led by Łukasz Grela - President of Energoprojekt Katowice, and consists of representatives of IGEOS member companies:

The Team directs its first activities to the areas of support for the certification process as building a long-term business relationship and promotion of Polish companies along with mechanisms for measuring their involvement with commissioners.
